Saudi’s Kilow raises $2.5 million seed for its ‘science-backed’ weight reduction platform 


Riyadh-based healthtech startup Kilow has raised $2.5 million in seed funding to broaden its AI-powered weight administration platform. The spherical was led by Sanabil Enterprise Studio (a three way partnership between Sanabil Investments and Stryber).

Based in 2024 by Fahed Al-Essa, Kilow runs a weight-loss app that mixes medical oversight with digital instruments. The platform provides customers personalised therapy plans developed by licensed medical doctors and nutritionists, with options like real-time progress monitoring, ongoing consultations, good machine integration, at-home blood checks, and automatic behavior reminders. Its AI element is used to tailor suggestions and modify plans over time.
